Flisar doubles up in Germany

Slovenia’s Filip Flisar recorded his second FIS World Cup Ski Cross win in Bischofswiesen/Goetschen, Germany.


The 24-year-old saw off the competition of Canada’s David Duncan who had to settle for second in the final.

Switzerland ’s Alex Fiva finished fourth in the final but moved to the top of the overall standings with 382 points while Flisar lies fourth.

Meanwhile in the women’s event Switzerland’s Katrin Mueller won her maiden World Cup event in the ski cross as she overcame France’s World Cup leader Ophélie David.

Canada ’s Marielle Thompson had to settle for third with Andrea Limbacher last in the final.

David lies top of the overall rankings with 420 points ahead of Thompson in second.
