FOOTBALL: They think it's all over - but then Tranmere Rovers score after the final whistle...

James Norwood's stunning goal against Woking in the National League came 12 seconds after the final whistle according to some match reports

A team is never more dangerous when they have gone a goal down, goes the saying.

But Tranmere Rovers are at their most dangerous when the match has ended it seems.

Trailing 4-0 at Woking in the National League, referee Brett Huxtable ended their misery after three minutes of stoppage time according to the BBC Sports Website.

But 12 seconds after the supposed final whistle, Tranmere took their chance and James Norwood reduced the deficit as you can see below.

Norwood's goal was a real cracker too and given the match was meant to be all over at the time, there were an awful lot of players still trying to stop him scoring. He certainly played his Cards right and there is no truth at all in the rumour they were playing 'next goal wins'.
