Football - Burnett could sharpen up Daggers

Dagenham boss Wayne Burnett must decide whether to freshen up his side for Sunday's trip to League Two leaders Chesterfield.

Burnett described the club's 1-0 Boxing Day defeat at Portsmouth as "one of the most frustrating performances of the season" and is sure to be considering new faces just 72 hours later at the Proact Stadium.

The likes of Lawson D'Ath, Afolabi Obafemi and Josh Scott, among others, all come into contention for recalls.

The Daggers are not expected to boast any fresh injury or suspension concerns, although Billy Bingham (knee) and Matt Saunders (ankle) are likely to remain on the sidelines.
