Butcher collected the manager of the month award for November while striker Billy McKay won the player prize and winger Aaron Doran was named best young player. Caley Thistle will go second in the league on Saturday if they beat Hibernian at home after securing wins at Celtic, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen last month.
McKay, 24, netted four goals including the winner at Parkhead and was also called up for Northern Ireland. Butcher said: "I'm really pleased for Aaron Doran and Billy McKay because these players play a lot of really good football and you think 'do people notice them?'"
He added: "There's been other more glamorous players who have done pretty well but these guys deserve these awards.
"We had a good month last month but we have had a good three months. We have had a couple of losses, ironically both to Motherwell, but we certainly enjoyed good success and a great number of goals and quality of goals, and progressed in the cup and the league."
Butcher praised assistant Maurice Malpas and other coaching staff and medical team, including youth coach Duncan Shearer.
"It`s nice for me but it`s not really for me, it`s for the team, they have had a phenomenal three months, and for my staff as well," he said.
"There has got to be a good team behind the team. We are all together and are very close. Maurice put out the (pitch) covers yesterday with Duncan and the boys. It`s incredible what we do here.
"You don`t really want praise, you just want to enjoy it.
"We have certainly enjoyed this season. There`s been less walks of shame for me and my dog and less bottles of red drunk on a Saturday night, which is probably good for my liver, because the boys have done so well."
