Cooper's side have enjoyed three successive wins on the road, with league victories at Mansfield and Exeter sandwiching success at Sheffield United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

But Pools have suffered four losses from five league games at Victoria Park this season and the club's manager wants to see his side picking up three points regularly on their own turf - starting against Plymouth this Saturday.

"The 150-odd (travelling fans) are the lucky ones seeing us win like we did at Exeter, now when we get back to the Vic we have to give something to cheer about (for) those 3,500-4,000 who come and watch us," Cooper told the Northern Echo.

"We will be working to try and do that. We have back-to-back home games to come and we are expected to force the game.

"We want to give them all something to smile about and turn around the home form and replicate the away form there."
