The 28-year-old's deal has the option to be extended by a further year, once his initial terms expire in 2017.

Bodurov, a centre-back who can cover at right-back, has won 24 caps for his country and has made over 350 professional club appearances.

He started his career with hometown club Pirin Blagoevgrad and in 2009 he moved to Litex Lovech, who he played for last week in their Europa League qualifying match with Hungarian side Diosgyor VTK.

Bulgarian reporters are suggesting that this announcement follows a signing earlier in the week, and that Bodurov may well play in Fulham's friendly against Caykur Rizespor tomorrow.
