Football - Cumbrians braced for O's test

Carlisle defender Danny Livesey will miss the clash at Leyton Orient after suffering an injury setback this week.

The central defender had been sidelined with a calf injury and the problem recurred when returning to training, so he remains sidelined with midfielder Paul Thirlwell, who is struggling with a similar problem.

Sean O'Hanlon (knee) is expected to continue at the heart of defence alongside Max Ehmer after coming through the FA Cup defeat at Sunderland unscathed, but Courtney Meppen-Walter (thigh/groin) is also in contention.

On-loan Manchester United winger Tom Lawrence was forced off late on at Sunderland as he was nursing a bruised foot, but is expected to resume in the starting line-up.
