Football - Dayton sidelined for Killie

Kilmarnock will be without winger James Dayton for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League fixture with St Mirren after he was ruled out for the rest of the season.

Dayton punctured a lung and broke four ribs in an accidental collision with Ross County defender Mihael Kovacevic on Saturday and is expected to sit out the remaining seven games of the campaign.

Killie need just four points from their next two games to clinch a top-six slot but will also miss skipper Manuel Pascali and Rory McKeown as they remain on the sidelines, while Paul Heffernan is struggling with a groin injury.
