Football - Defensive dilemmas for Leeds

Leeds will be without first-choice full-backs Sam Byram and Stephen Warnock at Charlton so Marius Zaliukas is expected to make his full debut.

PA Sport Report

Right-back Byram has not trained this week due to a thigh problem that ruled him out of last week's win against Yeovil, while left-back Warnock was forced out of the game with an ankle injury.

Former Hearts skipper Zaliukas made his debut off the bench last Saturday and could start, although Danny Pugh and Adam Drury provide manager Brian McDermott with further options. Another alternative, Aidy White, is currently on loan at Sheffield United.

McDermott must decide whether to hand on-loan striker Dexter Blackstock his first start or retain Matt Smith alongside Ross McCormack.
