Football - Evans set for Rovers return

Corry Evans could make his first Blackburn appearance since October when Gary Bowyer's men visit Reading.

PA Sport Report

The central midfielder has been troubled by ankle ligament problems but, after two appearances for Rovers' Under-21s recently, he could play a cameo role as Bowyer, who will serve a touchline ban for this game, looks to ease him back in.

Full-back Adam Henley is fully-fit again after an Achilles problem, striker Rudy Gestede has overcome a minor knock and Luke Varney and Craig Conway will hoping to make their full debuts.

Blackburn have not played a game in two weeks but they remain without midfield trio Josh King (hamstring), Dickson Etuhu (ankle) and Ben Marshall (ankle).
