Fenerbahce claim that the Court of Arbitration for Sport has suspended the European ban imposed by UEFA over their involvement in a match-fixing scandal.

Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildirim told the club's official television channel that the club will participate in the Champions League next season after all.

Fener were banned for two years by UEFA.

The announcement sent the club's shares up 10.55 per cent.
