Football - Forest first up for Terriers

Huddersfield will travel to Nottingham Forest in their opening match of the new Championship season on August 3.

The first home game of the campaign is against relegated QPR, before the season continues with a trip to Millwall and a home clash with Bournemouth.

The first West Yorkshire derby of the season against local rivals Leeds takes place at the John Smith's Stadium on October 26, with the return fixture at Elland Road on February 1.

The Terriers host Derby on Boxing Day and Yeovil three days later before making the short trip to Burnley on New Year's Day.

The final home game of the campaign is against Leicester on April 26 before the season ends the following weekend at Watford.
