It’s the rumour that just won’t go away about the player who just cannot wait to get away: Paul Pogba to Barcelona.

The new Manchester United skipper could bid adios to wannabe Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho as soon as January after the LaLiga champions giants ‘privately accepted’ they will not land him this month – at least that’s what the (Telegraph) claim.

Pogba, 25, could still quit Old Trafford in the next two weeks though as all other major European transfer windows are still open until September while the Premier League’s remains sealed shut until Santa Claus has been and gone.

Just two days ago the Barca/Pog deal was dead in the water it seemed, only to be revived when the Catalans were ready to offer Philippe Coutinho as bait. Yeah, right…

The France World Cup winner might actually fancy leaving Manchester and another one who does is Jason Denayer, centre back at the blue half of the City – thus claim the Star.

The 23-year-old Belgium international has clocked up no appearances for the Cityzens in four years at the club, spending his time on loan at Celtic, Sunderland and Galatasaray – and now he quite fancies a permanent move to the Turkish giants rather than wait for his chance to usurp John Stones, Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala, Nicolas Otamendi et al.

CLUB-BY-CLUB GUIDE TO THE TRANSFER WINDOW

When he flies to Turkey for his medical he could very well be joined on the plane by Liverpool keeper Loris Karius, who, according to the Sun is ready to join Besiktas on a season-long loan.

Better make that a three-seater – Marcos Rojo looks like he could finally be on his way out of Manchester United by popular demand.

The Mirror claims the 28-year-old central defender is wanted by Super Lig runners-up Fenerbahce and talks are ‘being held’ over a loan deal.

Rojo has dropped behind Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Eric Lindelof in the pecking order.

That’s ‘behind’ Phil Jones and Chris Smalling but still good enough to play for Argentina at the World Cup.

After rejecting a return to Manchester United for Juventus to prove he CAN do it on a wet Tuesday night at Frosinone, Cristiano Ronaldo is continuing to put the boot in on Mourinho.

The Reds have long been linked with long-linked name Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but soon-to-be Juventus legend Ronaldo has urged the 23-year-old to join him and his new pals in their bid for a 48th successive Serie A title rather than spend his time falling in and out with the manager – sorry, ‘head coach’ (Star).

Demanded

Ronaldo has ‘demanded’ his new Italian employers snap up the Serb ahead of the joint Premier League leaders…

Italy also calls for Chelsea misfit Tiemoue Bakayoko – if you believe the Sun) – with the 23-year-old in the sights of AC Milan who want a loan deal followed by a purchase if they like the Frenchman.

Finally, Watford’s French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, 25, has indicated that he could move away from the club in the future. (Watford Observer)

He doesn’t say where he wants to go and that is ‘very happy’ at the club. But one day he might leave. The Press have been alerted. Literally.
