Football - Hamill worry for Hearts

Jamie Hamill is giving Hearts boss Gary Locke cause for concern ahead of the Scottish League Cup clash with Raith Rovers.

PA Sport Report

The Jambos will head across the Forth Road Bridge for the second-round tie at Stark's Park but midfielder Hamill is struggling with a calf strain, while Ryan Stevenson (knee) is also out.

Left-back Kevin McHattie, however, will play despite being sent off against Aberdeen in Saturday's Scottish Premiership draw at Tynecastle. Locke intends to appeal the dismissal but the automatic one-match ban he is due to receive only applies to league fixtures.
