Matt Derbyshire replaced Gary Taylor-Fletcher in attack for Saturday's home game against strugglers Bristol City, but the Seasiders proceeded to draw a blank for a fourth consecutive match, and on-loan Aston Villa forward Nathan Delfouneso could push for a start.
"It's a concern that in four games we haven't scored a goal, but it would be more if we were conceding goals," Ince told BBC Radio Lancashire.
On-loan MK Dons defender Gary MacKenzie made his debut in Blackpool's back four and is set to continue after earning plaudits from Ince.
"He looked comfortable and he gave us that nastiness," he said. "You have to be like that sometimes. It's not all about playing free-flowing football. You have to have that edge and he gave us that."
Midfielder Chris Basham remains on the sidelines due to a broken cheekbone, alongside defenders Bob Harris (toe) and Ian Evatt (knee).
