Football - Johnston: We deserved more

Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston felt his side deserved to take home a point for their second-half efforts in the 2-1 defeat at Inverness.

PA Sport Report

Goals from Aaron Doran and Graeme Shinnie put Inverness two goals in front before Darren Barr halved the deficit 14 minutes from time.

The loss to Inverness was Kilmarnock's first in three matches and Johnston said: "With the conditions in the first half it was difficult, but Inverness were probably the better team.

"However, I felt that we were by far the better team in the second half.

"We put them under a lot of pressure and were unlucky not to get the equaliser."
