Darren Bent, second right, celebrates scoring the winner for Fulham

Fulham ended a winless sequence at home of six matches dating back to April with defeat of Everton in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, and face Cardiff with a spring in their step and options at Jol's disposal.

The Dutchman has had few opportunities to deploy Dimitar Berbatov and on-loan striker Darren Bent up front in tandem due to injury, but is likely to do so on Saturday, while on-loan QPR playmaker Adel Taraabt could pull the strings.

"If you've got the weapons, like we had against Everton, I think we will do well at home," Jol said.

"After Tuesday it was more positive. Adel played, (Giorgos) Karagounis played, Bent came on and scored his goal. It's good, if it stays like it is now.

"The main thing for me is that they will be fit for selection and that they can do what we intended them to do. Bent is here because there's goals in him.

"If there's enough goals in us, I think we don't have a problem.

"With Berbatov and Bent (we have enough)."

Following the draw with West Brom - secured when the visitors netted a last-gasp equaliser - a vocal minority of supporters called for Jol's departure.

With Fulham still searching for a second win of the season and languishing in the relegation zone of the table in its early stages, Jol understands the fans' concern.
