Millwall were forced to borrow kit from opponents Sheffield Wednesday after leaving their own strip in London for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship match.

The Lions forgot to bring their own kit from south London and had to rely on the Owls to lend them their yellow away strip from last season.

Manager Steve Lomas said he had learned of the issue at around 11am, with the teams then going on to draw 2-2.

Lomas said: "It's just an honest mistake, I think. These things happen. It just added to the madness of the game."
