The EFL have announced the Championship team and manager of the 2016/17 season.
The teams are based on votes by a media representative of each Championship club. This representative votes for their best eleven players and best manager of the season.

The team has a 4-3-3 formation, and the side with the most players present is Brighton, who currently reside in second place in the Championship table. Goalkeeper David Stockdale is joined by teammates Lewis Dunk, Anthony Knockaert and Glenn Murray.
Despite sitting top of the Championship table, Newcastle only have two representatives in the team, Jonjo Shelvey and Dwight Gayle. The side with no more than one player in the team is Fulham, who are represented by left-back Scott Malone.
The rest of the team is made up of Huddersfield and Leeds United players, with each club having two players in the line-up. Huddersfield also have the honour of having their manager, David Wagner, voted the manager of the side, therefore being manager of the season.
The German manager has turned Huddersfield into genuine promotion contenders and has received praise by football fans and pundits alike.
Although the team of the season has been announced, the Championship season still has a way to go. With eight games of the season remaining, there are still plenty of positions to be decided at the top and at the bottom.
