Football - McLean set for Bantams bow

Bradford's new signing Aaron McLean is expected to make his debut for the club at Sheffield United.

PA Sport Report

McLean, who has signed a two-and-half year deal, could go straight into the starting line-up alongside James Hanson as teenager Ollie McBurnie is struggling with a hamstring strain and Andy Gray is only just returning to fitness following a severe dead-leg injury.

Midfield pair Nathan Doyle (groin/hip) and Ricky Ravenhill (ankle) both missed last week's home draw with Bristol City and face late fitness tests.

James Meredith will be out for six weeks after breaking a bone in his foot and fellow defender Andrew Davies, sidelined since October due to a knee injury, has targeted a return to action next month.
