The mid-table Canaries have lost seven of their last 10 matches ahead of Wednesday night's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham, including a 5-0 loss to Liverpool and the 1-0 defeat to Luton which saw them become the first top-flight side to exit the FA Cup to non-League opposition in the Premier League era.
The miserable run followed a 10-match unbeaten streak, which included a Capital One Cup triumph over Spurs.
Hughton admits he is worried by the form slump, but had the same points total come from a more topsy-turvy stretch it would be looked at more favourably.
"It's a question of fine-tuning," Hughton said. "We know where we are. We had this very good run, we've been on a bad run.
"It is a concern, because it has to be. You'd rather be picking up points than not, but these are the things you have to deal with in the game.
"There's always pressure. There's pressure going into every game that we play. We have to get back to decent form."
