Football - O'Driscoll wants full steam ahead

Bristol City head coach Sean O'Driscoll insists he will treat his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to Wycombe like a clash with Manchester United.

PA Sport Report

The Robins, without a game this weekend due to international call-ups, beat local rivals Bristol Rovers in the first round and O'Driscoll will not be altering his approach for Tuesday evening's cup tie.

"There'll be no let-up in our preparation whether we've got a 10-day break or not," O'Driscoll told the club's official website.

"We'll approach it exactly the same way whether it's Wycombe away in the JPT or Manchester United.

"I can't see the difference. If you prepare differently against Manchester United, why aren't you doing that against Wycombe?"
