Football - Pressley upbeat despite defeat

Coventry boss Steven Pressley remained upbeat despite watching his side lose their way in a 3-0 home defeat to Rotherham.

Second-half goals from Nouha Dicko, Alex Revell and Kieran Agard ensured a second drubbing in a matter of days for Pressley's men. They lost 5-1 to Tranmere on Saturday.

"It's a very disappointing result. I thought it was a very even first half and probably the best chance fell to ourselves," said Pressley.

"In the second half we started very aggressively and during our best period we lost the goal, and then we lost our way after that.

"The second and third goals deflated us but the one thing we have to be aware of is that we are a very young side and that setbacks do affect us.

"We cannot lose sight of how far we have come in a short space of time and this result and Saturday's result are real disappointments, but we can't forget how much we've improved as a team.

"Our results and performances have set such a high standard and when people come to see Coventry, they expect to see goals from the home side. We didn't produce that here."
