Football - Rhodes on right track for start

Blackburn boss Michael Appleton looks set to include striker Jordan Rhodes in his starting XI to face Brighton.

Rovers' top goalscorer broke his nose during Saturday's 1-0 win over Ipswich but is expected to recover in time to start against fellow play-off chasers Brighton.

New signing Lee Williamson could be added to the squad after making a permanent move to Ewood Park last week.

Appleton has no new injury or suspension concerns but will be without defender Todd Kane who has returned to Chelsea after completing his loan spell.

Former Manchester United forward Josh King remains out, alongside Adam Henley (both hamstring), while long-term injury concerns Leon Best and midfielder Dickson Etuhu are sidelined due to knee injuries.
