Beckford made it four goals in three matches as Huddersfield scored three goals at home for the first time this season, James Vaughan also on target.
It was Huddersfield's second win in six games and they remain firmly entrenched in the relegation fight with Millwall also dropping into the shake-up after a dreadful run of form.
Robins, though, could not contain his admiration for Beckford who is on loan from Leicester.
He said: "It was Premier League finishing from Jermaine. He has been unfortunate with injuries and he would be some player if you had him for 46 games a season.
"I love watching him. He is a master finisher and on his day he is unstoppable and unplayable."
Robins also praised Beckford's strike partner Vaughan who scored the other goal and set up Beckford's second.
"His work-rate is phenomenal and he doesn't let defenders rest. As a pair Vaughan and Beckford are as good as any in this league."
