Football - Rosler bemoans dull draw

Wigan boss Uwe Rosler voiced his disappointment after his side failed to score for a second successive Sky Bet Championship game in a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough.

PA Sport Report

Failure to win for Rosler's men leaves them seven points adrift of a play-off spot, currently occupied by Reading in sixth, but the German boss will be hoping the Latics can take full advantage of their two games in hand.

"Before the game I would have taken a point," the former Brentford manager said.

"And we started slowly and did not play well in the first half.

"But in the second half we played much better and so I was disappointed because we had the better of the game and had the chances to win.

"In the end we are disappointed to only take one point."
