Football - More of the same for Rovers

Doncaster boss Paul Dickov expects to begin the new year with the same squad that finished 2013 as he prepares Rovers for a trip to QPR.

The South Yorkshire club incurred no new problems on Sunday as they halted a four-game losing run with a goalless home draw against fellow Championship strugglers Millwall.

Strikers Chris Brown (ankle) and Billy Paynter (Achilles) and midfielder James Coppinger (heel) have recently been added to an already lengthy injury list and the trio look unlikely to recover in time for the New Year's Day fixture in London.

Defenders Jamie McCombe (back), Rob Jones (neck), James Husband (shoulder) and midfielder Paul Keegan (hamstring) have been out for some time and will remain on the sidelines.
