Football - Rowett set to shuffle pack

Burton boss Gary Rowett has said he will freshen up his team for the FA Cup trip to Bournemouth.

Rowett made only one change to the four starting line-ups he named over the festive period, bringing in Alex MacDonald for Chris Hussey against Newport last Sunday. Midfielder Lee Bell is fit again after a hamstring injury and has been on the bench recently while striker Rene Howe will be fresh for the third round tie against the Cherries after starting among the substitutes for the last four matches.

It looks like some changes could be forced on Rowett with defenders Shane Cansdell-Sherriff (broken cheekbone) and Damien McCrory (hamstring), goalkeeper Dean Lyness (hip) and midfielder Robbie Weir (knock) all sustaining injuries at Mansfield on New Year's Day.

Therefore Chris Hussey could return to left-back, a position where he made his name at AFC Wimbledon and Coventry.
