Football - Striker pushing for Daggers start

Josh Scott comes back into the fold for Dagenham as they make the trip to promotion contenders Rotherham.

The striker has spent the past five weeks on loan at Blue Square Bet Premier side Ebbsfleet, scoring three goals in six games, but has now returned to Victoria Road and is pushing for a starting berth at the New York Stadium.

Sam Williams or Ben Strevens could well make way with the Daggers having found the net just once in the last three games.

The likes of Medy Elito, Billy Bingham and Kevin Maher are also pressing to start as Dagenham aim to reverse a run of just one win in eight games, with interim boss Wayne Burnett, boasting no fresh injury or suspension concerns, yet to taste victory in his two games at the helm.
