Michael Tonge has signed a permanent deal at Elland Road and fellow midfielder Ross Barkley recently joined on a month-long loan from Everton, while Warnock has been working towards bringing in at least two more permanent new signings during the January window.
Warnock, an outspoken critic of the transfer window system, said: "I gave (chief executive) Shaun (Harvey) the targets last week and I've spoken to him a couple of times since, talking about progression. No doubt we'll try and push these on if we can.
"You get so many agents phoning you. Quite frankly, some of the recommendations are farcical. The number of times I think 'why have you rung me about that player?' It's ridiculous.
"They either think that you haven't got a clue about football or you haven't got a clue about players. It never ceases to amaze me."
Warnock, yet to receive any offers for 19-goal striker Luciano Becchio following recent reports linking him with both Wigan and Hull, added: "I don't want to give any speculation.
"We're trying to get the targets and we'll have to see. The January window's a nightmare so you just don't know what's around the corner."
