Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has appointed former Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll as his first-team coach.
The 54-year-old has agreed a deal that will see him work underneath his former team-mate until the end of the npower Championship season. The pair played together at Bournemouth, where O'Driscoll had a six-year spell as manager.
In a statement released by the club, Cotterill said: "Sean and I go back a long way, we're old friends, and I'm delighted to have been able to add him to my coaching staff."
He continued: "He's available after leaving Doncaster in September, so compensation isn't an issue.
"I've no doubts he will be a great addition to my backroom team."
