Wesley Fofana has become the latest Chelsea player to voice his displeasure at Mauricio Pochettino's departure - as he wished the Argentine well in a social media post.

Pochettino left his role at Stamford Bridge by mutual consent earlier this week after just one season at the club despite leading a youthful Blues side to the sixth-place finish in the Premier League and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Since his departure was confirmed on Tuesday, following an end-of-season meeting with club chiefs, several Chelsea players have taken to social media to hint their disappointment.

And defender Fofana, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City two years ago in a deal worth £70m, has become the latest Blues player to wish Pochettino all the best and seemingly take a swipe at Chelsea's decision to part ways with the 52-year-old.

"All the best coach," wrote Fofana on Instagram on Wednesday with his post accompanied by both a prayer and a facepalm emoji.

Fofana has not featured for Chelsea since suffering an ACL injury last summer and has made just 20 appearances all in competitions since joining the Blues in 2022.
