Mauricio Pochettino has overseen a fine run of form since being named the US men's national team coach. The USA have won four straight games with the former Tottenham and Chelsea boss in charge, the latest of which was a Concacaf Nations League quarter-final win over Jamaica.

USA beat Jamaica 4-2 in the second leg of their quarter-final for a 5-2 aggregate victory to make it through to the semi-finals. Among the goalscorers was former Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic opened the scoring for USMNT, continuing his fine early season form. He has already notched five goals for AC Milan in Serie A, with three assists also to his name.

And after scoring he did a very familiar dance to all American supporters. Pulisic copied the new president-elect President Donald Trump's dance from the election win.

Trump was seen doing the dance regularly during the election campaign, and Pulisic has become the latest in a long line of American athletes to copy it.

Speaking after the match, Pulisic said: "I saw everyone doing it yesterday in the NFL, I saw Jon Jones do it, and we were just having a bit of fun. I thought it was a pretty fun dance.

"Obviously, that's the 'Trump Dance' but it was just a dance that everyone was doing. He's the one who created it, and I thought it was funny.

"It's not a political dance. It was just for fun. I saw a bunch of people do it and thought it was funny, so I enjoyed it."

Pulisic spent four years at Chelsea, scoring 20 goals in 98 games, never managing to become a regular in a turbulent time for the west London club. He completed a permanent move to Milan in the summer of 2023.
