Honda has released the first audio clip of its new V6 turbo Formula 1 engine that will power the McLaren cars from the 2015 season.

The Japanese manufacturer will return to grand prix racing in 2015 as a supplier, replacing Mercedes as McLaren's engine provider.

Honda recently fired up its new engine for the first time and has now made the audio public.

Mercedes and Renault had already released audios of the engines they will use during the 2014 season.
