The seven-times F1 world champion is accused of colliding with the motorcyclist after failing to give way at a roundabout in Bormujos, near Seville.

The anonymous rider is claiming compensation after sustaining a broken wrist as well as damage to his clothes, motorbike and a watch on November 17, report the Mirror and various media outlets in Spain..

Schumacher has been in a coma since sustaining a serious head injury whilst skiing in the French Alps on December 29, 2013 – around six weeks after the Bormujos crash.

A police accident report appears to claim that Schumacher failed to respect his alleged victim’s right of way in the incident.

But a trial would only take place if insurers contest the claim.

The German, 45, would of course not be obliged to attend in his current state.
