Frank Lampard makes two changes and formation switch for first Coventry City team selection
Frank Lampard has made just two changes to his first Coventry City side as the new head coach begins a new era at the CBS Arena against today’s opponents Cardiff City.
The newly appointed boss looks to be going with a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 formation for his opening match in charge of the Sky Blues where he has kept faith with Brad Collins in goal.
The back four sees Milan van Ewijk and Jay Dasilva either side of the central defensive partnership of Bobby Thomas and Luis Binks, with Joel Latibeaudiere and Liam Kitching providing back-up from the bench.

That leaves Norman Bassette to lead the line as Ellis Simms, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Fabio Tavares offer striking options from the bench.
