Brown and Herman topped qualifying with best runs of 87.00 and 88.66 and then saw heavy snow and low visibility cancel the scheduled finals two days later in Colorado. Both now move into second overall in the respective freeski slopestyle World Cup standings with Jesper Tjader and Kai Mahler second and third respectively in the men's event in Breckenridge. In the women's event Emma Dahlstrom of Sweden and Herman's American teammate Devin Logan were awarded second and third with the World Cup circuit now moving to Gstaad. The cancellation of the finals would have caused much frustration to those who reached them with just one week now left of the qualifying period for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
