Training and qualifying were both abandoned on Friday because of poor weather and it didn't improve overnight with the first races making way.

Heavy rain through the night turning into heavy snow in the morning made conditions impossible for racing although organisers are hopeful that the second of two races can go ahead on Sunday.

Switzerland currently dominate the overall ski cross World Cup standings with Fanny Smith leading the women's and Alex Fiva the men's after six of 14 races this season.
