Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen have been included in Tottenham's starting line up for this afternoon's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Fulham.

Kane picked up a minor knee problem in midweek and has passed a late fitness test to start at Craven Cottage.

Vertonghen has not featured for Spurs since suffering ankle ligament damage in mid January but has returned to the side.

Vincent Janssen's omission suggests the Dutchman has fallen well down the pecking order, as Mauricio Pochettino makes five change in all this afternoon.

For the hosts, goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, Tomas Kalas, Scott Malone and Neeskens Kebano come in.

The Premier League team have been installed as clear favourites to progress to the quarter finals but can take nothing for granted against their capital rivals.

Slavisa Jokanovic's men have won their last four games on home turf and will be determined to cause an upset at Craven Cottage.

Tottenham XI: Vorm, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Winks, Eriksen, Son, Dele, Kane

Tottenham substitutes: Lopez, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Dembele, Onomah, Sissoko, Janssen

Fulham XI: Bettinelli, Malone, Odoi, McDonald, Kebano, Cairney, Ayite, Ream, Johansen, Aluko, Kalas

Fulham substitutes: Button, Madl, Sessegnon, Parker, Piazon, Martin, Cyriac

What they're saying

Mauricio Pochettino: "Fulham are a good team from the Championhip," he told Tottenham's official website.

"When you play in the FA Cup the gap doesn't exist in between the level that you are playing.

"The FA Cup is special and we need to show we can stop that negative way and recover the feeling we had before Liverpool."

Slavisa Jokanovic: "It's a great opportunity, for myself, Fulham, my players, and the fans. We don't need any further motivation.

"This competition is famous for its surprises. It's a fantastic chance for us, and isn't a moment for us to surrender."
