Fulham face another key clash in their battle for Premier League survival when they host Wolves at Craven Cottage tonight.

Their hopes of avoiding an instant return to the Championship have been hit by a damaging run of three successive defeats, with the gap to nearest rivals Newcastle - who have a game in hand - now standing at three points for Scott Parker’s 18th-placed team.

However, a Friday evening fixture gives them the chance to pile the pressure on Steve Bruce’s men, who travel to Burnley on Sunday.

Fulham will fancy their chances against a Wolves side in 14th that have not won since February 19, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side falling short with their spirited fightback against West Ham at Molineux on Monday.

Fulham vs Wolves prediction

Time is running out for Fulham to haul themselves out of danger, with only seven matches left on the 2020/21 schedule.

Parker’s side desperately need to snap their run of defeats with trips to Arsenal and Chelsea ahead, and Newcastle - fresh off that morale-boosting last-gasp draw against Tottenham - having a winnable fixture at Turf Moor on Sunday.

Wolves’ disappointing season has been riddled by injury and they are not good travellers, though Fulham are the division’s worst home team, having won just two of their 16 top-flight matches at Craven Cottage this term.

1-1 draw.
