Galliani: Milan summer spree already over

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani claims his club will not be chasing any players during the close season.

“Our transfer market has closed. We have already made our signing. The decision to keep Thiago Silva was our big move and it closed our market.

“There will be no changes in midfield. We have nine players in there and we are complete.

“We are not missing a Van Bommel type player as we have Riccardo Montolivo [after his arrival from Fiorentina]. We also have Massimo Ambrosini who can play in that role.”

Galliani admitted that Milan may look to cash in on Djamel Mesbah by selling the left-back to Serie A new boys Torino.

“We don’t have an intention to sell anyone, but we’ll have to see about Mesbah. Will Angelo Ogbonna be a part of the Mesbah deal? No, not at all.

“If we do sell someone then it won’t be one of our high profile players.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Kevin-Prince Boateng will not be offered new deals.

“Ibra still has two years to run on his contract and will stay. Boateng? They are private matters," added Galliani. "Anyway, all of our players have very high wages so nobody will be get an increase in salary.”
