All real life sports have been shuttered in recent days because of a coronavirus pandemic that has sickened more than 3,200 people in the U.S. and killed 62.
For sports fans looking for something to keep them busy while stuck inside, the lack of NBA, NHL and March Madness games has been brutal. On Sunday afternoon, the decline in entertainment options extended into the virtual realm.
Xbox Live has been down for much of the afternoon, preventing gamers from playing the likes of NBA 2K, FIFA and NHL online. Microsoft says it's investigating the issue, but people aren't happy about it. This is the second time in a week that Xbox servers have experienced technical difficulties.
We understand some users may be experiencing errors with sign in or matching making on Xbox Live, and are currently investigating. Please check back here for details.
