The 33-year-old has found himself on the sidelines for much of the season, and is considering a move to secure first-team football elsewhere.
His contract expires in the summer, and despite Bayern's public insistence that no first-team players will leave the squad in January, Tymoshchuk believes he may need to look elsewhere.
"I do not know yet whether I will still be at Bayern come February," the holding midfielder was quoted as saying by Kicker.
Tymoshchuk has been at Bayern since 2009, and has previously had spells at Zenit St Petersburg and Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as racking up 124 appearances for the national team.
