Ghana completed a dramatic comeback from an opening defeat to Portugal by beating South Korea 3-2.
An excellent victory was secured by Mohammed Kudus, who scored two of three Ghanaian goals thanks to crosses from teammates Jordan and Inaki.
The Ghanaian manager Otto Addo was this time on the right side of an officiating row, after complaining about decisions made during Thursday's match against Portugal. Addo watched on as South Korean manager Paul Bento was given a red card for an outburst at referee Anthony Taylor.
Addo's defence struggled through 10 minutes of extra time before the South Korean team were awarded another corner, with Taylor blowing the whistle before they could take it. Addo and his team directed their fury at the referee whilst the Ghanaian's celebrated their first win of the tournament.
