Glastonbury 2023: Line-up and how to get resale tickets

Glastonbury Festival organisers are to put more tickets on sale in late April.

This year’s performers include Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses alongside Sir Elton John, who will play the last UK show of his farewell tour at Worthy Farm in June.

Tickets for the festival sold out just 61 minutes after going on sale last November, despite the price rising to £340.

Festival-goers reported that the website SeeTickets crashed as thousands tried to book their places.

However, don’t despair: there is still a chance to get your hands on some last-minute tickets if you missed out.

Here’s everything you need to know to make sure you don’t miss out!

When is Glastonbury 2023?

Glastonbury 2023 will return to Worthy Farm from June 21 to June 25.

The festival has a fallow year every five years to prevent any damage to the site. The most recent break was in 2018 but, because of the two cancellations due to the pandemic, the next fallow year isn’t expected until 2027.

Who is performing at Glastonbury 2023?

More than 50 acts have been announced for the 2023 line-up on Friday, with hundreds more still to come before the festival opens its gates on Wednesday June 21. In keeping with Glastonbury’s pledge to make festival line-ups gender balanced, there is almost a 50:50 split between male and female acts.

However, all of this year’s main stage headliners are male.

Acts on the line-up include Lizzo, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Christine and the Queens, Lewis Capaldi, Maneskin, Manic Street Preachers, Wizkid and Blondie.

Singer-songwriter Cat Stevens will play the “legend slot”, previously occupied by legends such as Kylie and Dolly Parton.

Arctic Monkeys, who recently released their seventh album The Car, will close the Pyramid Stage on Friday night. It will be their third time topping the bill.

Guns N’ Roses will headline on Saturday night.

Can you still get Glastonbury tickets?

If you missed out on Glastonbury tickets the first time round, you can still get your hands on them.

Some will go up for sale this month, according to the organisers. A limited number will be available due to balances not being paid from previous sales.

Only See Tickets is authorised to sell Glastonbury Festival tickets, and no other site or agency will be assigned tickets.

The choices include the Ticket + Coach option, which goes on sale on April 20 at 6pm BST. Another is the resale of general admission tickets on Sunday April 23, starting at 9am BST. The third accommodation choice goes up for sale on Thursday April 27 at noon BST.

Each ticket is £335 plus a £5 booking fee. General admission tickets are securely delivered for £9.75 postage per order. The cost of coach travel is additional, and e-ticket delivery for the tickets plus coach trip choices is £2.50 per order.

Keep checking back on Glastonbury’s ticket information page for all the latest information. You will need to be registered for tickets if you want any hope of picking one up in the resale.
