GoFundMe page launched following sad passing of 'absolute gentleman' Bill Guiller
A GoFundMe appeal to help towards the funeral expenses of Bill Guiller has reached nearly £4.5k less than 24 hours since the page was created.
The wider Larne community was shocked and saddened to learn of Mr Guiller's passing this week. The respected photographer was well-known throughout east Antrim and beyond because of his many years as a volunteer with Larne FC.
Ali Barry, who organised the fundraiser with the blessing of Bill's family, said he touched the lives of many. "As we all know, Larne has lost an absolutely wonderful man this week, Bill Guiller," she posted. "Bill touched the lives of so many people in this community and beyond with his wonderful photography.

"Bill captured memories which we all know have been a blessing especially of those loved ones we have lost over the years. He asked for nothing in return and always greeted everyone with a smile and a wave. He was a great family man who adored his wife Noreen and his boys Ryan, Matthew and Christopher, and of course his twin grandsons.
"We all know too, how much he loved his dogs and they were never far away from him when he was out and about in his travels. To say he will be missed is an understatement, he was just Bill.
"I have asked permission from his family to fundraise for funeral expenses and Noreen has said that anything left over will be donated to Friends of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital where Bill was so lovingly cared for. Rest in peace Mr G. We will all miss you and you will always carry a special place in the hearts of many people."
