#GoodNews: Bold rescue of a goat from an open borewell gets praise from netizens

In May this year, a three-year-old child died in Medak district of Telangana after falling into a 120 feet deep borewell. The body of the child who fell into the newly dug borewell on Wednesday night, was recovered three days later at 17 feet deep, by an NDRF team who rushed to the site.

In fact, over 40 children (and who knows how many more animals) have met grisly deaths after falling into abandoned borewells in India since 2009, according to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
