Real Madrid have agreed terms with Eden Hazard, according to reports in Spain.

The Chelsea star has so far refused to a sign a new contract with the Blues beyond next season, and the LaLiga giants have long been rumoured in making a move for the winger.

And now, it appears they may have finally got their man.

Onda Madrid says that, after a summer of flirtation between club and player, Madrid have agreed terms with Hazard, 27, whose Blues contract runs out in 2020.

Chelsea don’t want to lose their star player and are working hard to extend his contract, but Hazard has in the past described a transfer to the Bernabeu as a dream move for him.

However, the Blues are not willing to let Hazard go on the cheap and will hold out for £150m.

But in the final year of his contract, Madrid will be confident of signing him for less and could potentially offer on-loan midfielder Mateo Kovacic as a makeweight.

The Croatian midfielder doesn’t want to return to Madrid and the club are open to selling him. However, if Chelsea want him they may have to head off Tottenham’s interest to get him permanently.

Arsenal chasing Moraes

Wesley Moraes is a striker in big demand and the word in The Sun is that Unai Emery has hunkered down and got on his mark in the “£15m race” for the Club Brugge striker’s services.

With Danny Welbeck out long-term and likely to be out of a contract in the summer, Emery only has two fit first-choice strikers at the club and wants Moraes to provide competition up front.

The Gunners may have to fight off interest in the Brazilian however, with both Valencia and Fiorentina both reportedly interested in the striker who has scored nine goals in 20 matches.

Tom Heaton on the move?

It’s been a rapid fall for Tom Heaton. A shoulder injury saw him go from fighting for the England no.1 jersey to third choice at Burnley behind Joe Hart and the sidelined Nick Pope.

And now he’s had enough. The 32-year-old is desperate for a move away from Turf Moor with Aston Villa the favourites to sign the experienced stopper.

That would complicate Tottenham’s plans to bring Nick Pope to the new White Hart Lane/Wembley to compete with Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga for the no.1 jersey.

One place Heaton won’t be going to however, will be Leeds United. Manager Marco Bielsa is in the market for goalkeeper cover but won’t sign Heaton or Newcastle’s Freddie Woodman because they aren’t good enough with their feet.

Meanwhile, Inter are planning a move for Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmian. He is also wanted by Fulham, the Italian is reportedly keen on a move back to his homeland.

Cardiff are planning a move to re-sign English midfielder Jordon Mutch. The out-of-favour Crystal Palace player, 27, has spent the past nine months on loan at Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps.
