Gossip: Zlatan 'set for AC Milan return', Barcelona 'open talks for Willian'
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not usually one to court attention, but he could soon be back in the spotlight of European football.
The Swedish striker missed out on his country’s World Cup campaign and instead made do with life in MLS football andLA Galaxy, who he joined from Manchester United. There he showed a marked improvement in his fitness and mobility after suffering a serious knee injury in United’s first season with Jose Mourinho.
He had been linked with a loan move back to United, to lift some of the strain off a struggling Romelu Lukaku, but the Mirror reports that he could be on his way back to another former club: AC Milan. Milan sit in fifth place, and need to kick on for the rest of the season to secure Champions League football, or face huge financial pressure.
The Italian club want Ibrahimovic on a six-month loan from his American club to assist with a potential march up the table. There is some difficulty over negotiations, though, as the Swede will reportedly only countenance a move if he is given an 18-month contract.

Barcelona ‘open talks for Willian’
Having failed with three bids for Brazilian international winger Willian, Barcelona have come back in for the Chelsea man. They have opened talks with the 30 year old to find out how much money they will need to offer his current club to secure his signature, the Metro claims.
Willian has just a season and a half left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, meaning he could soon be on his way from the club, and Barcelona are ready to make a move for him in January. One potential offer could be to swap Malcom, the former Bordeaux winger, as part of any move. The 21 year old has played less than half an hour so far this season, and Chelsea were tracking him before his move to Spain.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have been linked with a transfer of their own, this time in the Mirror. They believe that the London club are in a race against time to sign Joao Felix from Benfica, before he signs a new deal. His existing contract has a release clause set at a relatively affordable £45 million, but the 18 year old has been offered fresh, improved terms that would elevate that to £105m. The paper say that a new deal could be secured imminently, so Chelsea would have to act promptly.
Clubs may face legal action over Super League
The five clubs allegedly involved in discussions over a European Super League could face legal action from the remaining Premier League clubs, according to the i newspaper.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are committed to selling their broadcast rights through the Premier League until 2022, meaning a rumoured start date to the super league of 20/21 could break the terms of the deal. Der Spiegel broke the story last week, and have suggested that talks have already begun on how to form a league away from the Premier League and other domestic organisations.
