Packers RB Aaron Jones reportedly sprained MCL in win over Seahawks, will miss 1-2 weeks
Green Bay running back Aaron Jones left the Packers' 17-0 win over the Seattle Seahawks early on Sunday afternoon, and is believed to have sprained his MCL.
Jones went down in the third quarter, and didn't return. Jones underwent an MRI on Monday, which revealed a mild sprain of his MCL. Jones is only expected to miss 1-2 weeks due to the injury.
This time frame means the Packers avoid having to put Aaron Jones on IR, which would sideline him at least three weeks. Now Packers can see how Jones progresses through this week and then make a determination. https://t.co/xkona9hhny

Jones went down awkwardly in the third quarter on a run, and immediately came up holding his knee. He had to be helped into the medical tent on the sideline at Lambeau Field.
According to CBS’s Tracy Wolfson, Jones then left the medical tent with “tears in his eyes” and went to visit his family in the stands.

Jones finished his day with 25 yards on seven carries, and another 61 receiving yards on four catches. The 26-year-old had racked up 516 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season, his fifth in Green Bay.
The Packers, after holding a 3-0 lead through the first three quarters, exploded to the 17-point win behind a pair of short touchdown runs from AJ Dillon in the fourth quarter. Dillion finished Sunday with 66 yards on 21 carries, and 62 receiving yards on two receptions. The shutout was the first of Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson's career.
“When [Jones] left, he looked at me and said, ‘Get the job done,’” Dillon said, via Fox Sports’ Lily Zhao.
The Packers have two more games before their bye week in early December. Though they currently have one of the best records in the NFC and are in full control of the NFC North, Jones' absence could complicate things for Green Bay if he's sidelined longer than expected.
